‘Success of Borneo Fittest 2023 exceeds expectations’

Bintulu : Borneo Fittest 2023 concluded with truimphat cheers, showcasing an unparalleled celebration of strength, teamwork, and adventure at Kelab Kidurong Bintulu recently. Programme director Carter Wei said the success of the third edition of the event surpased their expectations.

“The dedication resilience and sportsmanship displayed by all participants truly embody the essence of Borneo Fittest.” he said. Wei also thanked Sarawak Fitness Association the key partner of the event for their support.

“Their commitment to promoting health and wellness contributed significantly to the event’s success.” he said. “The memories created in Bintulu will linger. Participants and spectators alike are encouraged to relive the moments and continue their exploration of Borneo’s rich biodiversity,pristine, coastlines, and vibrant cultures.” Wei added.

In the Elite Team category, the 1RM comprising Rayner Chee and Mogan Layla Foo emerged the champions. Uncle and Aunty [Aundrey Lau, Maxime Jamelin] and Team North B Vigilante [Ann Manson, Jonathan Ethan] were second and third respectively.

Team Lekker [Michelle Oosthuizen Corne Oosthuizen] won the Master Team category, followed by The Aviators [Jacklyn Sabastian, Ie-Tsen Cheng] and Golden Master [Tan St, Hanum Jumastapha].

In the Open category, the winner were McD [Phan Kang Kit, Mina Chong] followed by J&J [Justin Mc Cleve Christopher Foo, Tang Jia Yi] and TripleJ NBB [Joveniah, Viearl Jivel Jinau].
